You make a compelling argument, and I agree that suicide bombing of civilians is wrong.

Nevertheless, there was a fitwah from Al Azhar in Egypt that the suicide attack against an actual Army attacking a nation, but not civilians, could be considered lawful.

I was with the United States Marine Corp Officer program in college and accepted the fact that the any military mission assigned to me was more a priority than fleeing an enemy of the USA in battle to a escape death.

I would never blow myself up, but would In-sha’Allah blow up a bridge to stop an enemy of the USA from winning a battle against my country. –risking my own life

As an Muslim then American, I am more free to worship Allah Subhan wata Ala in the USA than even in some so called Muslim nations. That is why I would defend the USA, regardless of us having a bad President sometimes like the last one George Bush and the Chaney thugs.

With legal non-violent political work we now have President Obama in office and other reasonable democrats and republicans in government in the United States.

Had the Iraqi Mullahs taken a non-violent political approach instead of suicide attacks on US soldiers, the occupation of Iraq would have ended In-sha’Allah sooner. After the WMD alleged threat and Saddam’s downfall, the US had no reason to stay in Iraq. Massive murder of civilians in Iraq by Al Quaida gave Bush the excuse to stay in Iraq so long.

The Taliban and Pakistan religious parties need to break with Bin Laden and follow the real Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Peace Blessings Upon Him). The Saudi government told them that years ago, they did not listen, and lost the backing In-sha’Allah of Allah Subhan wata Ala to make a real non-oppressive Islamic government for Afghanistan.

We saw in Somalia some Islamic Courts members making the same mistake of following the Al Quaida doctrine. How could action that makes it not possible for you to make Hajj or visit the Mecca and Medina be a good action. –Only Allah knows best
